A legendary figure at Cappielow having turned out between the sticks an incredible 556 times between 1985 and 1998, ranking him second in the list of all-time appearance holders.
Signed from Ferguslie United aged 19, the Johnstone-born custodian established himself as undisputed No.1 for over a decade in which time he won a First and Second Division titles.
His career then took him to Clyde, Clydebank, Renfrew Juniors, Gretna and St Mirren before finding his way back home to Sinclair Street as part of the coaching staff in 2009.
Davie briefly came out of retirement during that campaign aged 43 to twice sit on the bench as back-up during an injury crisis.
Now mentoring the next generation of shot-stoppers, he combined the role of goalkeeper coach with his job at Highland Spring for seven season before taking up a full-time role with the club in 2017.
