Club Update | Dougie Imrie

Greenock Morton Football Club can confirm that we granted permission for Dougie Imrie to speak with Partick Thistle regarding their vacant managerial position last week. While we do not want Dougie to leave, we always told him we would never stand in his way if there was an opportunity he wished to pursue.

While there has naturally been some uncertainty during this period, we are pleased to confirm that Dougie will be remaining with Greenock Morton. His commitment to the club remains strong, and he is fully focused on the season ahead.

We are delighted to have Dougie on board and while we accept there is uncertainty right now, we hope this can be resolved in the coming week and we can look forward to the continued progress under his leadership.
