The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the club continues to develop a comprehensive understanding of all relevant matters affecting supporters, identify issues and communicate key information to supporters and other stakeholders.
A supporter with a love for the club, the post-holder will play a vital part in ensuring that Morton engages effectively with our supporters and provides the service and experience they would expect.
Chief executive Warren Hawke said: “During ongoing discussions with supporters, we have recognised the need to improve communication with our fans.
“We have invested heavily in many areas of communication recently and feel this supporter liaison officer position is the next key step in consolidating the work done to date.
“The new post has the express purpose of building growth by developing a better understanding of what the club means to our community and making sure every experience with the club reflects and reinforces those feelings.
“The aim is to create pride, engagement and lasting advocacy for the club, which will lead to growth of the fan base and, in turn, the club as a whole as well as creating further opportunities for engagement in the future.”
