Cammy Ballantyne signs for the Ton
Greenock Morton are today delighted to announce the signing of Cammy Ballantyne on a two-year deal following the expiration of his contract with Airdrieonians.
Making the switch to Cappielow, Cammy joins the Ton following two seasons at Airdrieonians where he racked up 70 appearances and was part of the side that won the Championship play-off in 2023.
The 27-year-old defender started his career in the Dundee United youth academy and had spells at Montrose and Dumbarton before moving to Airdrieonians in 2022. Cammy also represented Scotland at youth level during his time at Dundee United.

Manager Dougie Imrie shared his delight on today’s announcement adding, “Cammy is an extremely versatile defender who has impressed me whenever I have seen him play. I’m delighted to have secured his signature on a two-year deal, he is a fantastic player with great quality, and he will be a strong addition to the squad.”
