Ben Eardley signs one-year contract extension

We are delighted to announce that development squad midfielder Ben Eardley has today signed a new one-year contract to tie him to the club until 10 June 2019.

Local lad Eardley, a former St Kenneth’s and Notre Dame pupil, first came to prominence in November 2012 as one of three Morton Under-14s players to be called up to the SFA regional performance squad.

The 18-year-old penned his first full-time deal in May 2016 and, as well as spending part of last term on loan at Greenock Juniors, also established himself as a fixture in our Development League West title-winning team.

And after making his senior bow as a substitute against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the final game of the 2017/18 Ladbrokes Championship campaign, Ben has now signed on for another season at Cappielow.
