Arron Lyall Signs

Greenock Morton are delighted to announce the signing of Arron Lyall on a one-year deal following the expiration of his contract at Rangers.

The 20-year-old joined up with his new teammates today for his first session of pre-season ahead of the upcoming campaign.

A product of the Rangers Youth Academy, Arron was named the Rangers Academy Player of the Year in 2022/23. The youngster has also spent time on loan in the Championship with a spell at Inverness C.T. and most recently Airdrieonians where he played 18 games, scoring twice and helping the Diamonds secure a play-off position.

Arron is no stranger to Cappielow having played three games here last season, two of which coming with Rangers B in the SPFL Trust Trophy against Alloa Atheltic and Airdrieonians, scoring against the former to help his side progress.

Manager Dougie Imrie added, “Arron is an extremely promising young player that has bags of ability and potential. He gained valuable experience in the Championship last season and his playstyle is one that will get fans excited when he plays, I’m delighted that he has agreed to become a Greenock Morton player.”
