Andy’s aim is to repeat Celtic first half at Falkirk

Midfielder Andy Murdoch believes Morton will give themselves an excellent chance of achieving a positive result at Falkirk tomorrow if they can reproduce their first-half performance against Celtic.

The Cappielow club gave Brendan Rodgers’ side a fright in the first half of last Saturday Scottish Cup tie, going in goalless at the break before eventually losing 3-0 to the Premiership champions.

And Murdoch reckons that if they can reach a similar standard against the Bairns in this weekend’s Ladbrokes Championship clash, the Ton will have a shot at picking up three points on their travels.

The 23-year-old speaks to media officer Jonathan Mitchell about testing himself against the likes of Scott Brown, believing he’d scored, their last visit to the Bairns, and how tight it is in the fight for the play-offs.

He also talks his dressing room double act with Mark Russell and tells how Gary Harkins has borne the brunt of their pranks but gives as good as he gets.
