Alan Lithgow Departs by Mutual Consent

Greenock Morton can today announce that Alan Lithgow has departed the club by Mutual Consent.

Signing at the start of the 2021/22 season, the defender made his first appearance in a Morton jersey against East Kilbride in the Viaplay Cup and went on to make a further 41 appearances that season, picking up 2 goals.

The 34-year-old has made a total of 49 appearances for the club and played an influential part in securing Championship safety last season. Alan’s last appearance for the Ton came in a penalty shootout defeat to Raith Rovers in the SPFL Trust Trophy.
