Academy kitted out by Saveheat Group

The youth academy has been kitted out with smart new training gear thanks to our continued sponsorship by local firm Blairs Windows, which is part of the Saveheat Group.

As well as supplying all six youth teams with unique silver strips last summer, the finanical backing provided has helped purchase fresh kit for both the boys and their coaches for the upcoming season.

Proud Under-11s stars Harry Vance and Oliver Connell showed off their brand new tracksuits, produced by first-team kit manufacturers Vision, after receiving them at training.

And thrilled head of youth Derek Anderson said: “We appreciate the support that Sandy Easdale, James Easdale, and Alex Gray have given us by sponsoring our new training kit.

“We work exceptionally hard to improve the academy year upon year. A massive part of this is operating as professionally as possible – and with the quality of this new teamwear, the kids definitely feel the part.

“Without the generous financial backing provided by Saveheat and Blairs, it wouldn’t be possible to deliver to the high standards we aspire to at the Greenock Morton Youth Academy.”

Saveheat Group managing director Alex Gray added: “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of Morton’s youth development programme.

“As an Inverclyde company, and one of the largest local employers, we look after local interests by investing in the area and its people.

“Sponsoring our local football club is a wonderful way of doing that and we at the Saveheat Group are proud to be investing in the professionals of tomorrow by supporting the excellent work being done within the Morton youth academy.”
