Aaron Comrie signs for the Ton

Greenock Morton are delighted to announce the signing of Aaron Comrie on an initial one-year deal.

The defender joins the club following the expiry of his contract at Dunfermline Athletic this summer.

Starting his career in the Celtic youth academy, Aaron went on to spend time with St. Johnstone, Montrose and Peterhead, but it’s his time at East End Park where he has made the most appearances.

Joining the Pars in 2019, the 28-year-old made over 200 appearances in a Dunfermline Athletic top in a 6-year spell.

Subject to SFA approval.

Manager Dougie Imrie commented, “Aaron is an experienced defender who will add even more quality to our backline. He is a player who knows the league well, having played over 200 times for Dunfermline, and his experience at this level will be crucial for more competition in the team.”
