Midfielder Ross Forbes has today been announced as one of four nominees for the PFA Scotland Ladbrokes Championship Player of the Year award.
The 28-year-old has been in sensational form this term, hitting 12 goals in 41 starts and one substitute appearance in all competitions to help fire the Ton into the Premiership promotion play-offs.
As well as presently topping the club’s scoring charts, the playmaker also leads the way in terms of creating goals at Cappielow, registering 18 direct assists over the course of the campaign.
His polished displays have caught the eye of his peers this term and have now seen him shortlisted alongside Hibernian pair Jason Cummings and John McGinn and Queen of the South’s Stephen Dobbie.
The overall winners for each division will be announced on Sunday 7 May at PFA Scotland’s annual awards dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
