Vacancy: Club Doctor

Greenock Morton FC are currently looking to recruit new Club Doctors to assist with matchdays and team/pitch medical care.

The club would like to thank the departing Hugh Brown for his service to Greenock Morton over the last 5 years as he takes a step back from his duties. Lifelong Morton fan, Hugh has been ever-present on matchdays, volunteering his services with crowd doctor work along with assisting the first-team squad.

Greenock Morton has historically been very fortunate to have Doctors cover both the pitch and crowd on matchdays for decades, thanks to the voluntary input of Morton supporting medics prepared to give up their time and expertise in the interests of the playing squad and its followers.

The club are looking to add to its team of medics, principally to support the excellent St Andrews First Aid team who provide care for the supporters in the crowd on matchdays, but also to cover the team/pitch as required.

No prior sports medicine training is necessary, with the club able to arrange any additional training that may be required.

If you or someone you know would be able to help out in this capacity on matchdays, particularly if they already attend matches and are interested in finding out more, please make contact with Club Secretary Alistair Joyce at alistair.joyce@gmfc.net.

Alistair will be able to put you in contact with the Club Doctors to discuss the role in more detail and the plan to generate a pool of medics that the club can call on for matchdays throughout the season.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Applications should be sent to:
