Coaching Staff Update

Greenock Morton Football Club can confirm an update to changes in Ian Murray’s First Team coaching staff.

Goalkeeper Coach Jon Connolly has recently departed the club to take up a new role with Raith Rovers, and the club would like to thank Jon for his efforts during his time at Cappielow and wish him well for the future.

First Team Coach/Academy Coach Joe McKee has also departed the club. Joe had played an important role across both the First Team and Academy setup in recent months, and everyone at Greenock Morton thanks him for his contribution and wishes him well for the future.

Interviews are currently ongoing for a Sports Scientist to join the First Team staff, while the club also hopes to announce the appointment of a new Goalkeeper Coach in the near future.

Additions are also being made behind the scenes as the club starts to restructure its scouting and analysis network.
