Club Statement: 25/01/26

The club are aware of the concerning scenes in the aftermath of Friday night’s game with Arbroath.

Firstly, as a community club, the safety of everyone attending football matches is of the utmost importance to us, and those scenes are deeply disappointing.

We thank the majority of our supporters who travelled through in horrendous conditions to back the team to a hard-earned point.

We are committed to working with Arbroath and the relevant authorities to ascertain the facts of the situation, identify those involved, and take any relevant action required from our end.

Our SLO, Martin, was on hand as these events unfolded, and we once again thank him for his efforts on the night.

The behaviour of a minority does not reflect the incredible backing that our supporters give the team up and down the country. This sort of behaviour is completely unacceptable and can impact the club both reputationally and financially.
