
Vacancy: Finance Director
Greenock Morton Football Club is seeking a qualified Finance Director to join its Board on a voluntary basis. This is a strategic, board-level position, focused on governance, oversight, and guiding the club’s long-term financial sustainability.
Details on the role
The club has modernised its systems with Xero accounting software and benefits from a dedicated finance resource on site to manage day-to-day operations. The Finance Director’s role is therefore not operational — it is about applying professional expertise to ensure sound financial management, robust controls, and informed decision-making at Board level.
