Club Statement | Youth Academy

The club can this evening confirm that Derek Anderson will no longer be heading up the Youth Academy.

The club will soon be recruiting to bring the role in house with a new staff position to head up the Youth Academy, rather than the role being fulfilled by a consultant. This new role will report directly into the First Team Manager and General Manager.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Derek for the time, effort and endeavours put in to fulfilling the role of Head of Youth Academy.

The hope is for the immediate impact of this to be minimal on all of our academy players. The club remains fully committed to our Youth Academy and providing opportunities for emerging talent to progress and ultimately benefit the club through first team contributions and transfer fees.
