Cameron Blues named William Hill Championship Player of the Month for December 2024

Cameron Blues has today been named the William Hill Championship Player of the Month for December 2024.

Cameron has played a crucial role for the squad this season and has been a standout in midfield in recent weeks, securing the 26-year-old this award.

Scoring his first goal of the season against Airdrieonians on Saturday 14th December, Cameron made it two in two games by scoring a goal-of-the-season contender against Dunfermline Athletic the following week. Not only chipping in with goals, the midfielder also made a crucial goal-line block in the same game to help secure a clean sheet in the 2-0 win.

Another clean sheet followed against Ayr United before our Hogmanay match against Partick Thistle where Blues popped up in the dying moments to head home the winning goal at Cappielow.

It was a strong end to the year for Cameron, scoring 3 goals in 5 games from midfield and helping the squad head into 2025 on a 7 game unbeaten run in the league.
