UEFA Euro U19 Mini Tournament at Cappielow
Cappielow will play host to two UEFA U19 Mini Tournament matches over the coming days, starting tomorrow (Saturday) at 3.00pm.
As part of the mini tournament, Cappielow will host Scotland v Liechtenstein, on Saturday 16th November, 3.00pm kick off. Neil McFarlane’s Scotland side, who narrowly lost out to Wales U19’s earlier in the week, will look to bounce back at Cappielow with a squad including the nation’s hottest youth prospect at the moment, Motherwell’s Lennon Miller. Other notable players within the Under 19 squad include Southampton’s Rory MacLeod, Aston Villa’s Aidan Borland, Alfie Bavidge who is currently on loan at Ayr United from Aberdeen, Dylan Smith of Ross County who is currently on loan at Arbroath and is a former U19 Captain and Sheffield United’s Ryan One.
That match will be followed up by Liechtenstein playing their second match at Cappielow in 3 days as they face off with Wales on Tuesday 19th November at 7.30pm. The Welsh squad, which contains the son of Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, Zack, are managed by former Welsh internationalist Chris Gunter, who claimed 109 caps for the Welsh senior team.
Entry to both matches is free for all and is accessible through the Main Entrance to the stadium, both matches will be Main Stand only for admission.
