Travel
Travel by Road: Major works on M8 at M74 especially around junction 5 (Raith interchange). Evening peak time delays of up to 45 minutes.
Advice from Hamilton Academical is use M74 (new motorway), exit junction 6 signposted Motherwell and Hamilton. This will add time to your journey but will avoid the M74 at Raith.
Please allow plenty extra time for the road journey to and from Hamilton.
On the return, Transport Scotland may be undertaking routine evening maintenance on the M8 and some lane closures may be experienced; however, delays, if any, should be minimal.
Parking
Bus and minibus parking is available opposite the ground just off Racecourse Road. There is also council parking about five minutes’ walk from the ground.
In terms of car parking, large public car parks are available in Caird Street and Beckford Street and provide easy access and egress for the stadium, which is a few minutes’ walk.
