Manager and skipper scoop monthly awards

Jim Duffy and vice captain Thomas O’Ware scooped a prestigious double today as they were presented with the Ladbrokes Championship Manager and Player of the Month awards for October.

The team were in fantastic form throughout the month, recording a 1-0 win against Raith Rovers, an unforgettable 5-0 victory away at Queen of the South, as well as triumphing 2-1 against Ayr United.

On an individual level, defender O’Ware was in tremendous form, scoring twice in those three league fixtures – he now has six for the season – and helping the team record two clean sheets.

And a judging panel consisting of representative of the Scottish media have decided that Ton duo were deserving of the individual accolades, which they received at Parkea today.
