JJ wants to see positive attitude at Tannadice
New manager Jonatan Johansson wants Morton to play a brave and exciting brand of football under his leadership but says it is also important to also ensure the fundementals are sound in the short term.
Former forward Johansson has expressed a desire to play in the opposition half and create plenty of chances – but insists his primary concern is on making sure his team is hard to beat.
The 43-year-old says that has been the focus ahead of Saturday’s Ladbrokes Championship fixture against Dundee United at Tannadice as he looks to make a positive start to his time in charge of the Ton.
Speaking to media officer Jonathan Mitchell, he also discusses his first week in charge, assesses the squad, gives the latest on an assistant, an injury update, and his reaction to finishing as runner-up at go-karting.
