New gaffer makes podium in club go-karting

Flying Finn Jonatan Johansson showed he means business at Cappielow on only his second day as manager by finishing as runner-up in a club outing to The Experience go-karting in Hillington.

The Ton playing squad, coaching staff, office staff, chief executive Warren Hawke, and chairman Crawford Rae all attended an enjoyable if very competitive team-bonding activity on Friday.

Johansson was bested, however, by captain Jim ‘Jimbo’ McAlister, who took first place on the podium with a track time that ranked him as the venue’s fastest racer of the week, with Bob ‘The Glove’ McHugh finishing third.
