Ton to wear commemorative kits vs Dundee Utd

Gary Harkins, Ricki Lamie, Thomas O’Ware and their Ton team-mates will take to the field tomorrow wearing one-off commemorative shirts to mark Morton in the Community’s fifth birthday, we can reveal.

The specially-made kits, which were delivered to Parklea on Thursday, feature embroidered details noting the occasion on the right breast.

These unique jerseys will be worn against Dundee United and then put up for auction in order to raise funds and help support our charitable arm in the delivery of their many projects and programmes.

Don’t forget, as part of tomorrow’s ‘Community Day’ a number of fun activities will take place outside Cappielow from 1.15pm onwards and fans are invited to come along and take part before cheering on the team at 3pm.
