Judy Murray OBE enjoys Cappielow hospitality
It was our pleasure to welcome Judy Murray OBE to Cappielow as our guest at hospitality for Saturday’s Ladbrokes Championship fixture against Brechin City.
Judy, who is working on tennis initiatives in the Inverclyde area, predicted a win for the Ton and wasn’t too far off with her 4-0 scoreline.
Was supporting @Morton_FC at Cappielow yesterday. Planning to create a fab tennis project in the Greenock area….so it was good to see their mascot Cappie, the Cat with the Bat. And a 2-0 win. ?? ⚽️ ? pic.twitter.com/CsmY5uVGN0

Speaking with chief executive Warren Hawke prior to the match, she said, to huge cheers in the lounges: “Well, obviously Morton are going to win.
“I’m going to say it’s going to be about 4-0. I like a goal and want to be able to jump up and go: ‘Get in!’ So I’m looking for that at least four times!”
