O’Ware: Nothing better than scoring vs Saints

Defender Thomas O’Ware has been frustrated by his lack of goals this term and so was over the moon to open his account in Tuesday’s Renfrewshire derby, admitting there’s no better feeling than scoring against St Mirren.

Despite netting 11 times over the course of the 2016/17 campaign, the 24-year-old was yet to get on the scoresheet this season.

And he admitted he couldn’t have picked a better time to get off the mark than netting an 80th-minute equaliser against our local rivals.
