3. Jack Iredale

Jack Iredale

Australian defender Jack Iredale signed a six-month deal in the summer of 2017 after a successful trial period with the club.

He made two first-team starts, against Edinburgh City and Livingston in the Betfred and Irn-Bru Cup respectively, before joining Queen’s Park on loan until the turn of the year on transfer deadline day.

The Greenock-born defender, who began his career with Perth Glory, penned an extension with the Ton until 10 June 2018 in mid-December.

Following his conversion from centre-half to flying full-back, the 22-year-old made a huge impression in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign.

Jack made a total of 14 appearances – 13 starts and one as a sub – and scored three goals, including a sensational effort against Dundee United that saw him nominated for PFA Scotland Goal of the Season.

He was rewarded with a one-year contract extension that will keep him with the club until the end of the 2018/19 campaign on May 1 2018.
