Forward Kudus signed a five-month contract with the club on 8 August 2016 following a successful trial stint in which he played against Kilbirnie Ladeside.

He made his debut as a second half substitute in a 1-1 home draw with Falkirk, playing the final 22 minutes after replacing midfielder Jamie Lindsay, and scored his first Morton goal against Dumbarton one week later.

Englishman Oyenuga penned an extension in late December, prior to the win over Queen of the South on Christmas Eve, tying him to the Ton until 10 June.
