Community Day: Morton v Dundee United

Morton in the Community officially turns five years old this Saturday and they will be holding a birthday bash on Sinclair Street prior to our match against Dundee United to celebrate.

As part of the ‘Community Day’, a number of fun activities will take place outside the stadium from 1.15pm onwards and fans are invited to come along and take part before cheering on the team at 3pm.

Why not arrive early and test your spot-kick skills by taking a penalty in at Cappie the Cat or see how your shooting power measures up against the speed gun?

Morton Community will be represented on the pitch, too, with players from the girls’ Under-9s, 11s and 13s and our 2010, 2011, and 2012 boys’ teams taking to the field at half-time to participate in small-sided games.

There be a bucket collection on the day and we urge supporters to donate where possible in order to help our charitable arm to sustain – and grow – their project delivery as the ‘The Heartbeat of Inverclyde’.

Community staff hope you can join them to take part in the pre-match activities as part of a great day at the game and would like to extend their thanks in advance for everyone’s support.
