Countdown
Morton supporter Campbell Norris took part recently in the TV Show Countdown which is due to be screened tomorrow, Wednesday 12th November at 3.15pm.
During the show John Inverdale who was in the Dictionary Corner alongside Susie Dent mentioned that his first ever football match that he commentated at in Scotland during the early 70’s was a Morton Match and had extremely fond memories of Cappielow and their "noisy loyal supporters".

Morton -v- Celtic XI - Thursday 13th November, KO 7pm.
On Thursday evening we will be playing a Celtic XI at Cappielow in a challenge match, KO 7pm.

Prices will be as follows;
£5 for the Stand and Terracing.
Concessions £3.00.
Youths £2.00.
Under 12's Free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Season tickets will be valid for the match.

Despite their league game with Kilmarnock the night before, Celtic will be fielding a strong team on Thursday night.

It is hoped that there will be a good turnout of fans for what should be an entertaining match....[more]
